As we stand on the cusp of time, we celebrate a personal milestone, A decade ago, we planted a small seed—a dream nurtured by our twin passions for travel and writing. Over the years, that humble seed has taken root, flourished, and blossomed into Voyager – Sandy & Vyjay, a journey that has become both our calling and our way of life. Looking back on these remarkable ten years fills our hearts with immense gratitude and quiet satisfaction. What began as a single journey and a single story has taken us across distant lands, immersed us in unforgettable experiences, and introduced us to countless extraordinary people who have enriched our lives in immeasurable ways. The road has not always been smooth. Like every meaningful journey, ours too has been marked by challenges and uncertainties. Yet, through it all, we remained steadfast in our purpose, guided by an unwavering belief in the power of the written word, the transformative spirit of travel, and the conviction that meaningful journeys have the ability to change lives—not only our own, but also those of the people whose paths they touch.
Today, as we complete ten wonderful years, we are delighted to celebrate this milestone with all of you. We share with you a short video that attempts to encapsulate a decade of dreams, discoveries, friendships, and memories. Above all, it is our heartfelt expression of gratitude to everyone who has walked beside us and made this extraordinary voyage possible. Do take a look.
Nature has always been humanity’s greatest teacher, reminding us that every forest, every river, and every ocean is part of an interconnected web of life of which we are an integral part. As we observe World Environment Day, World Oceans Day, and the International Day of Yoga this month, we are reminded that caring for our planet begins with cultivating harmony within ourselves. Yoga teaches balance, mindfulness, and respect for all living beings, while nature and the oceans sustain life in countless visible and invisible ways.
As we continue to explore the world, let us do so with gratitude, humility, and responsibility. Every mindful choice we make today helps preserve our planet’s natural and cultural treasures for generations to come. Together, let us journey not merely as travellers, but as thoughtful custodians of the Earth we all call home.
