Greetings from Sandy & Vyjay!🙏🏻
India is a land of festivals. We are a country that believes in celebrating life. We celebrate everything, from the harvest to the birth anniversaries of Gods, and much more. September is the month when festivities are in the air. The festivals of Navratri and Dasara are around the corner. In this, September issue of Voyager Travel Bytes, our monthly newsletter that encapsulates the best of travel moments and NEWS from around the World, we focus especially on two diverse regions of India, both of which are known for their unique Dasara celebrations. One is the Bastar district in Chattisgarh, and the other is Mysuru District in Karnataka.

27th September is a very important day for all of us, it is World Tourism Day, and the theme for this year is focused on the relationship between tourism and peace. Indeed, there can be no better ambassador of peace and harmony, than tourism.

Best wishes for World Tourism Day and a great festive season ahead!

Recently the District Administration of Bastar, launched the Bastar Madai, an endeavour to promote the rich heritage and natural wonders of Bastar. Read more →

The influence of the Chamundeshwari temple and its deity has extended over the city and its inhabitants, from time immemorial. It is one of the 18 Shakti Peethas described by Adi Shankaracharya in his Ashta Dasha Shakti Peetha Stotram.
