Tiger Roar Ranthambore was our temporary home while visiting the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Ranthambore is a place that reverberates to the roar of tigers. It is the location of one of the largest tiger reserves of India, one of the important wildlife sanctuaries of India. The place is a popular destination in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan for lovers of the wild. It was the month of December and we were on a road trip across parts of Rajasthan.
Starting from Jaipur, Ranthambore was our first port of call. We would be later heading out to Chittorgarh, Kumbhalgarh, Ranakpur, and ending our road trip at the city of lakes and palaces, Udaipur. Before we ventured out into the jungles of Ranthambore in search of Tigers, we checked in to the Tiger Roar Ranthambore resort.

Tiger Roar Ranthambore, Rajasthan, India – Hotel Review
We were booked for two nights at the Tiger Roar Resort. We reached the resort just before mid-day, we just had time to get refreshed and have a quick lunch before we headed to the Ranthambore National Park for the first of our tiger safaris. We had also booked a second tiger safari for the next morning.
Location of Tiger Roar Ranthambore Resort
The Tiger Roar Ranthambore is located about 13 kilometres from the Sawai Madhopur Railway station. It is about 10 kilometres from the Ranthambore National Park. It is located in serene surroundings just off the main road and hence very peaceful. The Tiger Roar Ranthambore is a part of the Trulyy India group of hotels and resorts. The group has properties in Ranthambore, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Kumbhalgarh, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. Apart from these they also have properties at Bhimtal in Uttarakhand, Gir, and Kutch in Gujarat.
Accommodation At Tiger Roar Ranthambore
We found the accommodation at the Tiger Roar Ranthambore not only luxurious but very spacious too. It was an independent cottage with a large room and a huge bed. There was a cute little sit-out too that opened towards the garden. The room was well equipped with Coffee/Tea Maker, mini-bar, Wi-Fi, and LED TV. The Tiger Roar Ranthambore has 32 such luxurious and independent cottages set in spacious and green surroundings.
The Grounds
We loved the green environs of the Tiger Roar Ranthambore resort a lot. A huge lawn is at the centre of the property. The lawn is nice for relaxing and soaking in some sun. The beautiful canopies that are at the corners of the lawn provide some nice photo opportunities. The cottages surround the lawn and it is also the place where cultural programs like puppetry are held for guests to enjoy. Though we stayed there for two nights, as we were busy with the tiger safaris, we barely could spend much time at the property and enjoy its facilities fully.
Other Facilities & Service
The Tiger Roar Ranthambore resort has a very nice swimming pool with the statue of the serene face of the Buddha facing it. Set amidst green environs, it is a great place to take a cool dip. There is also a pool facing fitness centre apart from a Spa and Wellness Centre which offers the services of a Sauna, Jacuzzi, and Steam Room. We, of course, did not have time to use all these facilities and hope to return someday for a leisurely stay at the Tiger Roar Ranthambore resort.
Restaurant & Food
The restaurant at the TGI Tiger Roar Resort Ranthambore serves some really good food. A sumptuous buffet breakfast provides a good start for the day. The restaurant serves Indian, Chinese, as well as continental fare. We really enjoyed the food at The Tiger Roar Sawai Madhopur.
