There are various types of fun activities at Oak Street Beach. In specific, you could enjoy the sunshine while sprawling on the sand or toting around the beach chair. Remember to drink sufficient water and slather on sunscreen. Moreover, for those who love to stay active instead of relaxing, it also provides a couple of fitness options on the beach. With a paved path surrounding the edge of the Oak Street Beach, beachgoers could rollerblade, walk, jog and cycle.

All Chicago beaches’ lakefront possesses impressive and out – of – the – world views and Oak Street Beach is not exceptional. Each year, Chicago imports a huge number of palm trees and grows them along the beach to provide a green view.

  1. One day, one week or even one month isn’t enough for Chicago. We lived there for 5 years and barely scratched the surface of what I like to call, “America’s Most Underrated City”. #HomeSick
