Lord Shri Ram, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu, is the epitome of righteousness, virtue, and dharma. He was born in the illustrious Ikshvaku dynasty to King Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalya in Ayodhya. His birth is celebrated as Ram Navami, marking the divine descent of Lord Vishnu in the Treta Yuga. Lord Ram had three brothers—Bharata, Lakshmana, and Shatrughna—each known for their unwavering devotion to Him. His life and principles are beautifully narrated in the great Indian epic, the Ramayana, authored by Sage Valmiki.
Lord Ram’s life is a beacon of truth, sacrifice, and unwavering faith in dharma. His marriage to Mata Sita, the daughter of King Janaka, signifies the union of virtue and devotion. The exile of Lord Ram for fourteen years, accompanied by Mata Sita and Lakshmana, reflects the trials and tribulations of an ideal life. His battle against the demon king Ravana, the rescue of Mata Sita, and His return to Ayodhya to establish Ram Rajya symbolize the victory of good over evil.
