I haven’t never been to India and I certainly hope I get there one day. Such a vast country to explore though and there are so many beautiful regions to visit. The festival sounds fantastic. Love the vibrant colours of the dresses in the folk dances. Would definitely include this on my list if I ever get to India!
This looks like such fun. I love visiting local festivals. I’ve been to India a couple of times but not to Utarrakhand. Would love to see the local dancing and sample the food. Not so sure about whitewater rafting though, but I wouldn’t mind trying the hot air ballooning.

When I saw your first photo, I thought, “WOW Tehri Lake is gorgeous!” Then, I saw your second photo and was like “WOW it’s not JUST gorgeous but it’s the perfect spot for adventure junkies too!” And then all the culture with the festival. I would love to visit one day!
