Tirupati was almost like a second home to me, what with the deity being our family deity. We have visited several times from the various cities we lived in. Later it was part of my sales territory in my corporate career. Most recently we visited a couple of years ago but this time skipped the temple, choosing instead to visit the other sights. Had a great time. Comprehensive post, Sandy. We took the train and it was amazing.
