More than an event, Bharat Parv 2025 is an immersive journey into the heart of India—where traditions, talents, and togetherness shine as one harmonious celebration.

Bharat Parv 2025 has been organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, in collaboration with the Government of Gujarat. The festival is hosted near the Statue of Unity complex in Ekta Nagar, Kevadia, with support from the Gujarat Tourism Department and the Statue of Unity Area Development and Tourism Governance Authority (SOUADTGA). Together, these bodies have curated a grand cultural showcase that highlights India’s unity in diversity through art, cuisine, crafts, and performances. The event also involves participation from various state tourism boards and cultural troupes from across the country, making it a truly national celebration.

The Bharat Parv 2025 festivities began with a grand inauguration at Ekta Nagar, beneath the towering presence of the Statue of Unity. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, inaugurated Bharat Parv 2025 in the august presence of Shri Shankar Chaudhary, Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly and MLA – Tharad, along with other distinguished dignitaries including senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, and representatives from various state tourism boards.

The inauguration heralded the commencement of a grand celebration embodying the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, uniting the nation’s diverse arts, cultures, and cuisines under one vibrant canvas. The Hon’ble Chief Minister also visited the event’s key attractions, including the Statue of Unity, the Bharat Pavilion, and the various regional craft and culinary stalls that showcased India’s rich and varied heritage. The opening ceremony was a stirring tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, whose vision of a united India forms the very foundation of Bharat Parv. 

As twilight fell, the Statue of Unity glowed in tricolour hues, casting its reflection over the serene waters of the Narmada. It was a sight to behold — a perfect beginning to this fortnight-long celebration of India’s spirit, diversity, and timeless unity.

Bharat Parv 2025 is organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, in partnership with Gujarat Tourism, It is a grand 15-day national celebration at the Statue of Unity, Ekta Nagar—to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who was born on October 31st, 1875, his birth anniversary is celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day).

The celebration will culminate on 15th November 2025 with a special commemoration of the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, observed nationwide as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, honouring the valour, legacy, and cultural pride of India’s tribal heritage.

As you step through the vibrantly adorned gateway of the Bharat Darshan Pavilion, a wave of anticipation sweeps over you. Above the entrance, the words in Hindi — “हर राज्य का रंग, संस्कृति के संग” — gaze down invitingly, perfectly capturing the essence of what awaits within: the colours of every state, woven together in the fabric of culture.

A lively ensemble of local dancers and musicians greets you with exuberant rhythms and melodies that lift your spirit, guiding you toward the beautifully adorned state pavilions—each a vibrant showcase of the unique heritage, artistry, and cultural treasures of India’s diverse States and Union Territories.

A magnificent replica of the Kirti Toran of Vadnagar—a splendid 12th-century ornamental gateway crafted in the Maru-Gurjara architectural style—gracefully ushers visitors into the Gujarat Tourism Pavilion, setting the stage for an evocative exploration of the state’s artistic and architectural grandeur. Inside, the spirit of Gujarat comes alive through immersive AR and VR experiences, vividly recreating its timeless heritage, vibrant landscapes, and living traditions. Here, you can lose yourself in the exquisite splendour of the Modhera Sun Temple, and savour delightful glimpses of Gujarat’s culture, all within the pavilion itself.

From the sacred confluence at Prayagraj to the ethereal glow of Ayodhya’s Dev Diwali, and the exuberant hues of Mathura’s Rangotsav, the splendour of Uttar Pradesh unfolds in all its majestic diversity.

Within the pavilion, interactive information kiosks alongside AR and VR experiences immerse visitors in India’s culture and heritage. Engaging games add a playful thrill, offering exciting prizes to those who emerge victorious, making the journey informative, educational and entertaining.

“This is a wonderful platform for showcasing India’s unity in diversity, all state governments have come here to showcase their tourism products, we also have a food court where we have tied up with NASVI (National Association of Street Vendors of India) to showcase street food from across the country. We also have a Studio Kitchen where the different paired states showcase their state’s cuisine every day. “We have all the states and Union Territories of India within the themed pavilion where they are providing information about their tourism products, and also interactive AR and VR experiences. Rajasthan’s robust Dal Baati Churma and golden, flaky Pyaaz Kachori stood proudly beside the steaming, aromatic Siddus of Himachal Pradesh, while Bihar’s rustic Litti Chokha evoked a comforting sense of nostalgia. To conclude this feast of flavours, Chandni Chowk’s artisanal roller ice cream and assorted Banarasi paans offered a sublime, indulgent finale — a celebration of taste that lingered long after the last bite.

Each dish carried the authenticity and warmth of local flavours, prepared by the very hands that define India’s street food culture. The NASVI stalls not only delighted taste buds but also celebrated the spirit and enterprise of India’s small-scale food artisans.

Among the many talented artisans was, a young entrepreneur from Jaipur, Rajasthan, who proudly showcased the creations of her startup—an elegant collection of apparel adorned with exquisite hand-painted fabric designs that beautifully reflected the artistic grace of her region.

There was Sahib Chitrakar from Midnapore, West Bengal, seated beside an exquisite collection of handcrafted traditional paintings that beautifully embodied the rich artistic legacy of his region, each stroke echoing Bengal’s timeless cultural soul.

    What a pleasant coincidence! We too were at Bharat Parv, Statue of Unity and loved the colourful experience. The weather is extremely pleasant here and the beautiful Western Ghat spots makes the perfect setting for such a colourful festival. In fact me did some shopping there too.
