Bharat Parv 2025 has been organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, in collaboration with the Government of Gujarat. The festival is hosted near the Statue of Unity complex in Ekta Nagar, Kevadia, with support from the Gujarat Tourism Department and the Statue of Unity Area Development and Tourism Governance Authority (SOUADTGA). Together, these bodies have curated a grand cultural showcase that highlights India’s unity in diversity through art, cuisine, crafts, and performances. The event also involves participation from various state tourism boards and cultural troupes from across the country, making it a truly national celebration.

The Bharat Parv 2025 festivities began with a grand inauguration at Ekta Nagar, beneath the towering presence of the Statue of Unity. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, inaugurated Bharat Parv 2025 in the august presence of Shri Shankar Chaudhary, Speaker of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly and MLA – Tharad, along with other distinguished dignitaries including senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism, and representatives from various state tourism boards.
The inauguration heralded the commencement of a grand celebration embodying the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, uniting the nation’s diverse arts, cultures, and cuisines under one vibrant canvas. The Hon’ble Chief Minister also visited the event’s key attractions, including the Statue of Unity, the Bharat Pavilion, and the various regional craft and culinary stalls that showcased India’s rich and varied heritage. The opening ceremony was a stirring tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, whose vision of a united India forms the very foundation of Bharat Parv.
As twilight fell, the Statue of Unity glowed in tricolour hues, casting its reflection over the serene waters of the Narmada. It was a sight to behold — a perfect beginning to this fortnight-long celebration of India’s spirit, diversity, and timeless unity.

Bharat Parv 2025 is organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, in partnership with Gujarat Tourism, It is a grand 15-day national celebration at the Statue of Unity, Ekta Nagar—to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who was born on October 31st, 1875, his birth anniversary is celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day).
The celebration will culminate on 15th November 2025 with a special commemoration of the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, observed nationwide as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, honouring the valour, legacy, and cultural pride of India’s tribal heritage.
As you step through the vibrantly adorned gateway of the Bharat Darshan Pavilion, a wave of anticipation sweeps over you. Above the entrance, the words in Hindi — “हर राज्य का रंग, संस्कृति के संग” — gaze down invitingly, perfectly capturing the essence of what awaits within: the colours of every state, woven together in the fabric of culture.
A lively ensemble of local dancers and musicians greets you with exuberant rhythms and melodies that lift your spirit, guiding you toward the beautifully adorned state pavilions—each a vibrant showcase of the unique heritage, artistry, and cultural treasures of India’s diverse States and Union Territories.
A magnificent replica of the Kirti Toran of Vadnagar—a splendid 12th-century ornamental gateway crafted in the Maru-Gurjara architectural style—gracefully ushers visitors into the Gujarat Tourism Pavilion, setting the stage for an evocative exploration of the state’s artistic and architectural grandeur. Inside, the spirit of Gujarat comes alive through immersive AR and VR experiences, vividly recreating its timeless heritage, vibrant landscapes, and living traditions. Here, you can lose yourself in the exquisite splendour of the Modhera Sun Temple, and savour delightful glimpses of Gujarat’s culture, all within the pavilion itself.
After the splendours of Gujarat, the timeless charm of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Konark beckons as you step into the elegantly designed Odisha Tourism Pavilion. “This is a wonderful platform to showcase the tourism treasures of our state, and I warmly invite everyone to explore Odisha — India’s Best Kept Secret,” said Mr. Dipankar Mahapatra, Director, Odisha Tourism.
The Uttar Pradesh Pavilion is exquisitely crafted around the timeless grandeur of Varanasi’s iconic Kashi Vishwanath Temple, capturing the city’s deep spiritual aura and cultural richness. Mr. Manoj Tadavi of Uttar Pradesh Tourism proudly highlights the many landmarks of the state that have been artistically brought to life within the pavilion. From the sacred confluence at Prayagraj to the ethereal glow of Ayodhya’s Dev Diwali, and the exuberant hues of Mathura’s Rangotsav, the splendour of Uttar Pradesh unfolds in all its majestic diversity.
The tranquil charm of Paradise Beach, the meditative spirit of Auroville, and the timeless French elegance of White Town come alive in vivid harmony within the Puducherry Pavilion. “Spirituality, beaches, and heritage form the core of Puducherry’s tourism canvas,” explained Mr. G. Somasundaram of Puducherry Tourism.

Visitors are in for an unforgettable journey as they enter the Incredible India Pavilion, meticulously crafted by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. A captivating walkway, bordered by digital walls that dramatically showcase India’s treasures, guides guests into the heart of the pavilion, setting the stage for an immersive celebration of the nation’s rich heritage.
Within the pavilion, interactive information kiosks alongside AR and VR experiences immerse visitors in India’s culture and heritage. Engaging games add a playful thrill, offering exciting prizes to those who emerge victorious, making the journey informative, educational and entertaining.
“This is a wonderful platform for showcasing India’s unity in diversity, all state governments have come here to showcase their tourism products, we also have a food court where we have tied up with NASVI (National Association of Street Vendors of India) to showcase street food from across the country. We also have a Studio Kitchen where the different paired states showcase their state’s cuisine every day. Visitors get a glimpse of India, all at one place.” said Shri Mohamed Farouk, Regional Director – Western Region, Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India.
“We have all the states and Union Territories of India within the themed pavilion where they are providing information about their tourism products, and also interactive AR and VR experiences. A Studio Kitchen has been created in which the paired states as per the Ek Bharat, Shreshta Bharat pairing, showcase the cuisines of their respective states.” said Ms Malti Dutta, Assistant Director – Western Region, Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India.

To conclude this feast of flavours, Chandni Chowk’s artisanal roller ice cream and assorted Banarasi paans offered a sublime, indulgent finale — a celebration of taste that lingered long after the last bite.
Each dish carried the authenticity and warmth of local flavours, prepared by the very hands that define India’s street food culture. The NASVI stalls not only delighted taste buds but also celebrated the spirit and enterprise of India’s small-scale food artisans.

There was Sahib Chitrakar from Midnapore, West Bengal, seated beside an exquisite collection of handcrafted traditional paintings that beautifully embodied the rich artistic legacy of his region, each stroke echoing Bengal’s timeless cultural soul.
Vijay Dutt Lotlikar, deeply engrossed in his work, sat hunched over coconut shells—transforming them with deft hands into exquisite works of art. His creations perfectly captured the breezy, coastal essence of Goa’s vibrant spirit.
Visitors were captivated by the vibrant displays that reflected the soul of rural India and the creativity of its artisans. The event not only highlighted the craftsmanship but also promoted sustainable livelihoods and the revival of traditional art forms.
