Karnataka Tourism Roadshow In Ahmedabad
Karnataka is a state which truly fits in with the metaphor which is the tagline of the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation.
The wonders of Karnataka range from the pristine beaches of Gokarna to the world famous heritage site of Hampi. The vibrant culture of Mysore dazzles during the Dussehra celebrations and the mysticism and rituals at Shravanabelagola resonate throughout the region during the Mahamastakabhishka of Gomteshwara. The tigers of Bandipur roar majestically while the waters of the river Sharavati cascade in silvery splendor at the Jog Falls. The state of Karnataka is nothing than a dream come true for lovers of nature, adventure, culture, and heritage.
Roadshow In Ahmedabad, Gujarat
With a view to providing glimpses of what Karnataka has to offer and promote tourism to the state from Gujarat, the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka held a roadshow on the 5th of February, 2019 in Ahmedabad.
The roadshow which was a B2B event had about 15 travel agents from the state of Karnataka and about 125 trade partners who were from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The roadshow’s main focus was the promotion Karnataka as a Wedding, Leisure, as well as MICE destination. The roadshow also aimed at the promotion of tourist destinations, hotels, homestays, resorts, and other service providers of the state.
The roadshow showcased the offerings of the state of Karnataka to the traveler. These were highlighted beautifully through 25 boutiques which showed tourism destinations, culture, cuisine, handlooms and textiles including the famous Mysuru Silk. The wonderful art of Sandalwood, Rosewood, Bidriware, terracotta were also showcased in the roadshow.
The roadshow was an excellent forum for the B2B interaction between tour operators, hospitality and other service providers, airline representatives as well as other stakeholders.
Package Tours Offered By KSTDC
Speaking on the occasion was Mr. Giriraja, Tour Manager from KSTD who informed that their department had introduced new package tours to cater to the specific needs of tourists. He also mentioned that KSTDS would help in planning the complete itinerary and ensure a smooth and seamless experience to the tourists.
