Shikhar Palace Mandla – Review of Hotel

Mandla town is believed to be the ancient Mahishmati, and later in history, it is famous for being the capital of the Gond Kindom. There is much to see in Mandla for the history and heritage aficionados.

It is a peninsular land formed by the Narmada river and is home to many historic temples and forts. If you planning to stay in Mandla, then the hotel Shikhar Palace Mandla is a decent place to stay in.

Accommodation At Shikhar Palace Mandla | Hotels in Mandla MP

Shikhar Palace Mandla offers pretty decent and comfortable rooms that are air-conditioned and have basic facilities. Of course, one cannot expect the trappings of a star hotel, however, the accommodation is pretty clean.

There are rooms on the first and second floors. We stayed in a room on the second floor, which has four rooms. The room was pretty good with a clean and comfortable double-bed, and functioning air-conditioning.

However, we found that the kitchen was on the same floor and right next to the rooms. So if you are a light sleeper, you are likely to get disturbed by the noises from the kitchen.

The food they served at Shikhar Palace hotel in Mandla was very tasty and homely. The breakfast and lunch have a good spread with all dishes cooked well and in a healthy manner.
