We were on a road trip across Himachal Pradesh covering Dalhousie, Khajjar, Mcleodganj, Dharamshala, Palampur, Bir, and Mandi. We spent two days in Mcleodgang at the Spring Valley Resort, which we felt was definitely one of the best hotels to stay in Dharamshala.

The Spring Valley Resort in Mcleodganj has a very nice location and is one of the best place to stay in Mcleodganj. It is very located within 300 metres of the famous Bhagsu Nag temple. It offers excellent panoramic views of the mountains and is also within walking distance of eating joints and shopping areas. The Spring Valley Resorts Dharamsala also provides easy access to most of the sights and attractions in Mcleodganj and Dharamshala.

The Spring Valley Resort offers comfortable, clean, and elegantly done rooms and cottages to guests. It has a total of 24 rooms which includes Premium Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, Cottages, and a Honeymoon Suite. All rooms have air conditioning and all modern amenities.

All the rooms have balconies or verandahs that offer close views of the mountains including Triund Peak. We stayed in the Premium Room and had complete access to a terrace with a swing. The views from the terrace were so good that we braved the chill to get out of the warmth of our comfortable room to bask in the early morning beauty of the mountains.

All rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds, air-conditioning, and all necessary amenities that include a Television set, an attached bathroom with complimentary toiletries, and also complimentary wifi.

Dining At Spring Valley Resort – Best Hotels In Dharamshala

A buffet breakfast consisting of regional and Pan-Indian dishes made from fresh, local ingredients is served at the Spring Valley Resort. The restaurant with a glass front looks onto the street. It is a nice place to tuck into your food while looking out onto the quaint street.

We had our dinner at the hotel as we were out during the daytime and had our lunch outside. We were pleasantly surprised to have the kitchen staff call us up and ask about our preferences. The dinner menu was made-to-order and served exclusively for us in the dining area.
