Wow! Had no idea about the variety of things to do outside of Bangalore! I have been a few times and definitely will be bookmarking this for my next trip.
I think Nandi Hills would be my first choice, but there are so many choices that it looks like one could spend quite a long time in and around Bangalore.
I absolutely love the concept of this article. So many times I am planning a trip and look for possible close by day trips. This is perfect for itinerary planners like me! So, there are so many places I would definitely want to explore. The categories are extremely helpful. Manchanabele, Avalabetta, Chunchi Falls, Channarayanadurga all sound interesting.
Hi Sandy and Vyjay,
Wow. So much to do outside of Bangalore. We only stayed in the city and loved it so; one of the greenest cities I have seen in person. But we will make a trip outside of town on our next visit. Too much to see and do, not to take some trips.
Fabulous post.
Ryan
Nandi hills have been on my list for quite sometime. Manchanabele looks quite interesting and definitely seems exciting to visit. I love to visit them all and bookmark for planning
Mandaragiri must be the most Instagrammable place near Bangalore. I have seen so many pics and always made plans to visit this place. Along with that there is so much to do in a few hours distance. This list is worth a save and will come in handy when we visit Bangalore.
What an amazing variety of places to visit around Bangalore. I think my favourite would be the Nandi Hills. That looks so serene.
So much variety in the places to visit near Bangalore. These days, I would definitely be heading to one of those outdoor spots. Raw nature with no people is a big draw. The red rocks sure remind me of other national parks we have visited. But I must admit that sights like Pyramid Valley, Subrahmanya and the Peacock Temple would be fascinating to see.
WOW! There are so many beautiful places to visit outside Bangalore. I would never be able to pick just one, the Pyramids look awesome and there is also so much nature around. Just incredible, great article.
