One day Alexis was looking for an answer to a question he had held in his mind for some time. After struggling to settle in and trying to live a normal life many times over and getting into depression; he kept asking himself “Why do I get bored of being in the same city or country every 6 months or a year? Why can’t I just stay put in one place and live a normal life?” A Google search led him to the meaning of the word “Wanderlust” and eventually to the creation of Wanderlust City – an apparel and accessories brand.
Wanderlust is a word that originated in the German language, which translates “to having a strong desire for wanting to travel.” So, this clicked immediately with Alexis and figured out that is exactly what he has been feeling ever since he traveled for the first time. Inspired by Tyrion Lannister’s phrase from Game of Thrones when he tells Jon Snow “never forget who you are, the rest of the world will never forget. Wear it like armor and it can never be used to hurt you.” And this is exactly how I felt, I always felt Wanderlust and I just wanted to share it with the rest of the world through apparels and accessories.
Wanderlust City is a lifestyle brand that promotes traveling through clothing and travel. Wanderlust City has been operating online since the beginning of November in 2016 when it first went live. Since then, we have had sales in the United States and Canada. Currently, we are working on reaching customers in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
