The Kukda Resort Chittorgarh was our home during our stay in Chittorgarh. This was our first time in the historic town of Chittor or Chittorgarh in Rajasthan, a western Indian state. Our road trip in Rajasthan took us to this place that is steeped in history, an unforgettable page in the history of the erstwhile Mewar kingdom. Our road trip had started from Jaipur, the well-known capital of Rajasthan, and culminated in the royal city of Udaipur.
We reached the town of Chittor in the evening after having completed our first leg of the Rajasthan road trip in which we visited Ranthambore and experienced the tiger safari at the Ranthambore National Park. We had spent two nights in the serene environs of the Tiger Roar Ranthambore resort and now looked forward to exploring the historic Chittorgarh Fort, one of only two living forts of India.
We headed straight towards the Kukda Resort Chittorgarh where we were booked for a night. It was of course just an overnight stay as the plan was to check out the next day after breakfast and after exploring the fort leave for our next destination which was Kumbhalgarh via Nathdwara. From Kumbhalgarh, we would be traveling to Ranakpur to visit the famous Chaturmukh Temple, the Parshawnath temple, and the Sun temple.

It was of course just an overnight stay as the plan was to check out the next day after breakfast and after exploring the fort leave for our next destination which was Kumbhalgarh via Nathdwara. From Kumbhalgarh, we would be traveling to Ranakpur to visit the famous Chaturmukh Temple, the Parshawnath temple, and the Sun temple. We found our short stay at the Kukda Resort Chittorgarh fairly satisfactory though we just stayed there overnight and just had two meals.

The Kukda resort in Chittorgarh is located just behind the Chittorgarh Fort. The fort is visible from the hotel rooms. It is located in a quiet area of the town. The address of Kukda Resort is Near Kukda Residency Opposite, Ambe Market Sangam Marg, Shivlok Colony, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan 312001.

Accommodation At Kukda Resort
The Kukda Resort has Deluxe rooms, Suites, and Family Suites to offer for accommodation. We found the room to be clean and spacious, well maintained, with all basic amenities. In fact, the amenities were a pleasant surprise considering that Chittorgarh is a small town. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, television, Tea/Coffee Maker, and WiFi.

The Kukda Resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a multi-cuisine restaurant that offers a lovely range of delicious food.

We had a buffet breakfast which served typical North Indian cuisine like Parathas, Poha, etc., Dinner was an elaborate affair with starters and a three-course meal followed by dessert. We found the food really tasty and nice.

If you are looking for something simple, clean, and easy to use in order to access the other sites of Chittorgarh, then it seems that the Kukda Resort Chittorgarh is a perfect fit according to your hotel review. We stayed often at very simple places while in Rajasthan but always we found that their service was often better than the more high priced places.
