As the sun metamorphosed into a golden halo, we set out to explore the landscapes of the Kudremukh National Park in a jeep. It was an exhilarating drive that took us to the top of a hill, where the tall grass swayed rhythmically to the mountain air, oddly shaped outcroppings of rock beckoned tantalizingly. It was indeed a ringside view of a spectacular sunset.

Time stood still as the sun went down in all its glory, it was a spectacle that assumed divine proportions and we were humbled by this lovely pageant of nature. We were thankful to the staff of Bhagavati Nature Camp, for curating this surreal experience for us.
