On our Himachal Pradesh road trip, on our way back to Chandigarh, we briefly stayed at Hotel Valley View Mandi Himachal Pradesh. Our road trip started from Amritsar in Punjab and covered Pathankot, Dalhousie, Khajjar, Dharamshala, Mcleodganj, Palampur, Bir Billing, Mandi, Anandpur Sahib, culminated in Chandigarh. Our last leg of the trip was a bit long and hence we decided to halt overnight at Mandi. The Hotel Valley View is a good place to take a breather while on a road trip. It is very convenient especially if you are on a road trip from Shimla to Manali or Chandigarh to Manali. It is right on the highway and is a comfortable place to relax, while on the go.

Hotel Valley View Mandi – Accommodation
The Hotel Valley View offers a range of Airconditioned and Non-Air-conditioned luxury rooms and suites to guests. The room we stayed in was quite spacious and also had a balcony. Mandi was covered with a shroud of fog when we were there and hence we could not really see the view from the balcony. The room had a comfortable bed and was clean. The amenities in our room included:

The Hotel Valley View in Mandi has a multicuisine restaurant named Shah-en-Shah that serves a wide selection of dishes. However, during our brief stay, we opted to have our meals which were one breakfast and one dinner served in our room itself. We found the food to be really tasty and filling and the service too was good. The hotel also has a bar named Kings Bar.
