Ibis Styles Mysuru was a pleasant surprise when we stayed overnight in this Ibis hotel during our Mysore odyssey as part of the Discover Mysuru programme. We have stayed at Ibis Hotels in different places, including Bangkok, Pattaya, and Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia. Our perception of the Ibis hotels was that they were essentially no-frills business hotels, however, our stay at Ibis Styles Mysuru changed that. Ibis Styles – Accor Hotel In Mysore
Mysore is the crowning jewel of Karnataka, a city where royalty serenades an old-world charm. It is a major tourist destination of the state and attracts tourist footfalls in large numbers. Some of the city’s major attractions include the Mysore Palace and the Chamundeshwari temple. Given its stature as a tourism hub, Mysore has several stay options, and the Ibis Styles Mysuru is one option to consider.
Ibis Styles Mysuru Review – The Location
Ibis Styles Mysuru is located on KRS Road in leafy environs. Though it is not in the heart of Mysore City, the hotel is located within easy reach of many of the attractions of the city. It is also near to some of the attractions in the vicinity of the city. The hotel is just 7.8 kilometres from the famous Mysore Palace, 12.8 kilometres from Brindavan Gardens, 10.4 kilometres from Ranganthittu, and 12.6 kilometres from Srirangapatna.

Ibis Styles Mysuru – Ibis Styles Hotel Accommodation
The facade of the Ibis Styles Mysore beckons visitors inside with its contemporary elegance. The hotel has a total of 100 rooms that include standard rooms and suites. The hotel’s decor has an avian theme, given its nearness to the Rangathittu Bird Sanctuary, an avian paradise.
Our room at the Ibis Styles Mysore was a Superior Suite with a queen-size bed. We liked the room, the moment we stepped into it.
There was a compact living room with an attached kitchenette. The room was tastefully furnished with a comfortable sofa and oversized chair, a small table for dining, a television set and cute stools and tea poys. The room had a large glass window that looked onto the roadside.
The bedroom was spacious and equipped with a comfortable queen bed, and also had a study table, side tables, and wardrobe. A spacious attached bathroom equipped with all necessary toiletries completed the setup. Elegantly placed photos of exotic birds in the rooms ensured that the avian theme was present throughout.
Ibis Styles Mysuru – Ibis Styles Hotel Dining
The food at Ibis Styles Mysore consisted of Pan-Indian and Pan-Asian cuisines. Breakfast and lunch/dinner is served at its restaurant, The Verandah, which is a cosy place to have a relaxed breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and is excellent for both families eating together or also for business lunches. Apart from The Verandah, the Ibis Styles Mysuru has a Bar named Flamingo, in keeping with the Avian theme that runs throughout the hotel. The Flamingo is a comfortable lobby lounge where you can let your hair down and relax with a drink and signature bites from the bar.
Ibis Styles Mysuru – Ibis Styles Mysore Accor Hotel Amenities
The Ibis Styles Mysore has a lovely swimming rooftop swimming pool, and also a fitness centre, that ensures that you do not forego your fitness regimen while travelling. A Kids zone is especially for families with kids, a feature that is sure to appeal to kids and parents alike, though for different reasons. The hotel also has all other basic and luxury amenities, including air conditioning, Wi-Fi, car parking, and meeting rooms. You can take your pets along with you as Ibis Styles Mysuru is a pet-friendly hotel. The hotel is also 100 non-smoking.
This Accor hotel in Mysore makes for a good venue for meetings, banquets, and other events. It has 9 meeting rooms of various dimensions. The biggest of these has a capacity of 100 for meetings and 120 for banquets.
Our Experience At Hotel Ibis Styles Mysore | Ibis Styles Mysuru Reviews
Though we had a short stay at Ibis Styles Mysuru, we enjoyed our experience. We liked the hotel’s decor, which was very pleasing. It had a contemporary and futuristic design which appealed to our senses. Our room was very comfortable and fully loaded with amenities. The food was also quite nice, though we just had dinner there. The service was good and the staff was friendly and unstinting with their welcome and service. To conclude we would definitely recommend Ibis Styles Mysuru for your stay when you are visiting the royal city of Mysore.
