The Kerala Travel Mart – KTM 2026 is gearing up for its largest-ever business participation, with more than 3,000 buyers already registered for the country’s premier tourism trade event. The strong response reflects growing international and domestic interest in Kerala’s diverse tourism offerings and underscores the state’s expanding position in the global travel market.

The registrations for KTM 2026 comprise 790 international buyers and 2,210 domestic buyers. The three-day travel event will be formally inaugurated on September 24, with the business sessions and meetings scheduled from September 25 to 27.
The inaugural ceremony of KTM 2026 will take place at the Lulu International Convention Centre, Bolgatty, Kochi in Kerala while the exhibition and business meetings will be held at the Sagara and Samudrika Convention Centres on Willingdon Island.
KTM 2026 has also witnessed a notable rise in participation from tourism businesses and organisations. A total of 382 sellers have confirmed their stall bookings, alongside approximately 30 stalls representing various government institutions, further strengthening the event’s industry representation.
The scale of business engagement at KTM 2026 is reflected in the 40,000 business meetings already scheduled, creating significant opportunities for networking, investment, partnerships and market expansion within Kerala’s tourism sector.
Media interest has been equally encouraging, with 138 media representatives registered to cover the KTM 2026 event. The contingent includes 71 international and 67 national media representatives, providing extensive opportunities to showcase Kerala’s tourism products and experiences to audiences across different markets.
The three-day mart – KTM 2026 will feature business-to-business meetings, discussions involving tourism policymakers, and seminars led by national and international experts. These sessions will provide a platform for industry stakeholders to exchange insights, explore emerging trends and discuss opportunities for the future of tourism.
Following the main event, post-mart tours will be conducted from September 28 to October 3, covering 12 different tourism sectors across Kerala. In addition, a dedicated pre-mart tour will be organised for invited international and domestic media representatives, offering them an opportunity to experience and explore the state’s tourism attractions firsthand.
A key highlight of KTM 2026 will be its transition to a fully digital event management system. Every major process associated with the mart—including registration, business-to-business (B2B) meetings and seminars—will be managed digitally through a new software platform and dedicated mobile application, marking a significant step towards a more streamlined and technology-driven trade event.
