The First World Hotel has a staggering 7351 rooms. We had an opportunity of staying at this unique hotel during one of our trips to Resorts World Genting in Malaysia.

First World Hotel – Experiencing The World’s Largest Hotel
The First World Hotel has made it to the Guinness World Records as the largest hotel in terms of the number of rooms. With the addition a second wing, the hotel has 7351 rooms.
First World Hotel – A Unique Hotel At Resorts World Genting, Malaysia
The vibrantly painted facade of the First World Hotel is instantly riveting within Resorts World Genting which is an integrated resort and entertainment township. Resorts World Genting is a complete family getaway up in the hills with theme parks, restaurants, entertainment centres, and many premium luxury hotels as well as shopping avenues.
In spite of the existence of international hotels like Maxims and others, the First World Hotel stands out with its unique distinction and is always teeming with guests checking in at the lobby which looks more like an airport terminal than a hotel lobby.
Location Of First World Hotel
The First World Hotel is located in the beautiful environs of Resorts World Genting perched picturesquely at 6,000 feet above sea level. Resorts World Genting has a climate that is pleasant throughout the year and also has an ethereal layer of mist, most of the time. It is a great getaway from the heat of Kuala Lumpur which is at a distance of about 55 kilometres.
Accommodation At First World Hotel
The First World Hotel has 7351 rooms for guests across its various categories. Their Standard and Deluxe rooms have a space of 180 Sq.ft while the Superior Deluxe rooms have a space of 320 Sq.ft. The World Club 2 category of rooms have a space of about 430 Sq.ft and have living area space also.
The standard rooms are utilitarian without frills and quite compact with optimal use of space. The room amenities include a room safe, flat-screen TV, Hair Dryer, Telephone, and a standing shower. There is no drinking water provided in the room. There are hot and cold water dispensers in the corridors of the hotel. There is no room service in the rooms.
The Super Deluxe rooms have additional facilities that include Coffee Maker, and a Mini-Fridge, complimentary mineral water, and toiletries.
The First World Hotel is by no stretch of the imagination a luxury hotel. It offers clean and no-frills accommodation. The premise is that visitors will be coming back to their rooms only to sleep in the night and spending a majority of their time exploring and experiencing the offerings of Resorts World Genting.
