I’m a laddoo fan and here I have seen all the recipes at one place. Others are so delectable. I’d try them all, especially Modak. I never had them. Now I have got a chance to try.

  4. The best part about these recipes are that they can be made at home. I feel this year will push more and more people towards ecofriendly celebration of the festivals considering the restrictions.

  5. I would love to be a part of this glittery festival Ganesh Chaturthi. These recipes are wonderful and I am motivated to prepare modaks. Will try them for sure. Thanks for sharing.

  6. All the dishes are yummy. I love Modak it’s my favourite in Ganesh Chathurthi. Miss Mumbai it’s so fun there at this time

  7. I had made coconut Laddu , rice kheer for this Ganpati Puja . All these recipes are yummy and easy to prepare also.

  8. Wow! All these sweets are making my mouth water! Modak and coconut laddu are my favorite! Loved reading the post!

  9. I didn’t know too much about Ganesh Chaturthi festival so hadn’t thought much about recipes that are associated with the celebration. Modak looks so appealing, and reminds me of mochi from Japan, which i adore, so I am confident I would love these. Motichoor laddoo, besan laddoo and sooji halwa I already know and love! Puran poli is also new to me, and looks wonderful! Various types of kheer I learned to make from my mum. Liking the look of the athirasa too. Chakli I have heard of but never tasted.

  10. I am fascinated by many of these sweet and savory treats! One of the things I love best about traveling is trying new foods, like these Ganesh Chaturthi Recipes, and new experiences–like the incredible festivals detailed here. I honestly didn’t realize there were so many delicious Ganesh Chaturthi dishes or that they vary by region.

In the west, we have limited Indian cuisine, but it is one of my favorites. After reading this, I hope to find Modak, Laddoo, Kheer, Chana and other dishes mentioned here on the menu. Until I can visit one of these incredible Ganesha festivals myself for the authentic flavor, it might have to do…unless I try my hand at making them myself!
